air fried pork chops

Air Fried Pork Cutlets

Thin pork cutlets are coated in seasoned breadcrumbs after being dredged in flour and egg, creating a layered breading that adheres during cooking. The coated cutlets are placed in an air fryer where circulating hot air browns the crust while rendering some of the fat in the meat. This method produces a crisp exterior without deep frying while preserving the tender interior typical of breaded pork cutlets.

As the cutlets cook, the breadcrumb coating turns golden and develops a firm, crunchy texture. The air fryer’s high heat encourages even browning on both sides, especially when the cutlets are flipped or lightly sprayed with oil. Traditional breading techniques combined with convection cooking create a crisp crust surrounding moist pork.
