scallion ginger relish

Scallion Ginger Relish

Finely chopped scallions are combined with grated ginger, garlic, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and neutral oil to create a bright, aromatic relish. The mixture balances sharp, spicy, and savory flavors while preserving the fresh bite of the scallions, producing a versatile condiment for meats, seafood, or vegetables.

As the relish rests, the flavors meld, allowing the ginger and scallions to infuse the oil and vinegar with aroma and brightness. Gentle mixing ensures even seasoning and texture. The preparation emphasizes fresh ingredients and balanced flavor layering to produce a vibrant, tangy, and savory scallion-ginger relish.

This relish works especially well with Pork Tenderloin Steaks.
