Dumpling Sauce
A savory dumpling sauce is made by combining soy sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and optional chili or ginger to create a balanced, flavorful dipping liquid. The ingredients are whisked together and allowed to meld, producing a tangy, salty, and aromatic sauce that complements the mild dough and filling of dumplings.
The sauce can be adjusted for sweetness, heat, or acidity, enhancing the flavor of each bite. Served alongside steamed, boiled, or pan-fried dumplings, it adds a concentrated burst of seasoning. The preparation highlights layering simple ingredients to create a versatile, well-rounded condiment.
